I've seen the build, and if you can't get the idea from what I told you then you should just carry on with what you're doing, lol That's the basis; and add whatever else you want. The idea is just spamming Earthshaker on balled shit constantly until it's dead.

Activate your sarcasm detector and take a look at my screenshots from the Kathandrax run I did - screenshots are in the original post.

Pr0 comments higher minion. I ran a similar build on my ooze pit build in the h/h time trial. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of microing, so my results aren't as impressive as yours. I went on to run through Duncan and forge with similar builds as well, but took the lazy way out by running an ER. It took much less microing, but also twice the time. These times are truly incredible for h/h.

Heavy micro is only hard at first. It gets really simple once you've done it for a few runs.
I basically do it like this:
(All of my hotkeys for targeting & hero-skills are on my numpad, having them close to mouse hand is a great advantage)- I flag heroes somewhere
- As I go for the pull I hit the hotkey to target myself and hit the hotkeys for Splinter, SoA, PS/JI
- After I stop at the location where I want the bodyblock to happen I hit cspace, target myself again, hit SoA #2, Anc Rage and Smite Hex/Cond if I have any hexes/conds on me and then hit C & Mark of Pain & ROJs
- By this time I should have adrenaline ready for WW attack
- ???
- etc
The key for succesful iddqd PvE micro-skillz is to completely switch focus from what's happening on the field to microing your heroes. this way it happens faster and is more natural.
Why? Because there's NOTHING that can go wrong if your heroes are flagged properly and you succesfully managed to bodyblock each and every one of the monsters you pulled.
This is the basic routine for me that I follow virtually on every pull. For me it's a reflex by now.

I'll give the hotkeys a try, but it's going to be a weird transition. I'm really used to doing everything with my mouse. Any recommendations for which actions to bind to macro keys? I have 2 or 3 available.

No idea about macro keys dude. Use those for whatever you feel content with. Just don't go apeshit crazy with the keybinds if you haven't microed a lot before. add a few, like ROJ, MOP and SoAs first and then gradually add more.

Sweet thread There's only one thing missing: This thread is about H/H, yet there isn't a list of recommended henchmen. Ya I can figure out some of it myself I guess.
Oh and:

There's no mention about the henchmen because one does not simply walk into dungeons without some kind of a backline. I assumed everyone knows this.
Anyway. I roll with 2 monks and 2 eles everywhere unless I deem dazed necessary (SoO comes to mind, Fendi).

I expected 2 monks, didn't know what more you'd use though.
I've heard of people beating SoO and Rragar's using just warriors and paragons, so not walking in without a backline isn't always 100% true.

I never said that one must have a backline now did I? And it's not like SoO and Rragar's require madskillz to beat.

I use something like this on my Ele, although a lazier method (ER hero).
Funny how this works so much faster than anything else an Ele could do in HM.

Not sure how effective this is on an ele, so i can't say for sure, but you could probably get reasonably close with a spiritway.

Well 100b, MoP, Splinter, and AC are doing most of the damage.

Just curious how do you beat SoO with this build?

100b isn't affected by the blind, though I wonder about Fendi with Chilblains... Probably just careful planning.

Uh. Same way I beat every dungeon. I use this build for SoO:
I do not use Mark of Pain or any other hexes (Except Scan) in SoO due to Hex Eater Vortex.
I also have a 20% deathbane sword for the lulz. every once in a while you one-shot an undead with an S&MS ;> (JI, etc ofc). A "run" takes roughly around fourty minutes. /Whisper me if you catch me online and we can go for a tourist run.
And I never saw a BDS drop.

Getting to Fendi isn't hard; what's insane about SoO is Fendi himself. How do you kill him, when his spawns spawn next to him so you can't execute aggro techniques?
